\nSocrates himself was permanently pissed.<\/p>\n

John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
\n after half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
\nPlato, they say, could stick it away,
\n ‘alf a crate of whiskey every day!
\nAristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle,
\n and Hobbes was fond of his Dram.
\nAnd Rene Descartes was a drunken fart:
\n “I drink, therefore I am.”<\/p>\n

Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed;
\nA lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he’s pissed.<\/i><\/p>\n
